On 29 October 2026 at 11:00 CET, the EU-funded DETANGLE project is organising the online workshop “The NIS2 Patchwork: A Comparative Perspective Across EU Member States”.
NIS2 (Directive (EU) 2022/2555) set a common baseline for cybersecurity across the EU. In practice, each Member State has transposed it through its own national law. For organisations working across borders, this creates a compliance patchwork: who supervises you, how fast you must report an incident and how far management is liable can change from one country to the next.
The workshop will explore:
- the state of NIS2 transposition across EU Member States
- differences in national implementation approaches
- national competent authorities and enforcement mechanisms
- incident reporting requirements and executive liability
Speaker: Valerio Lubello, Research Fellow at Bocconi University and practising lawyer specialising in administrative and technology law.
Who should attend: legal practitioners, cybersecurity professionals, CISOs, compliance managers, auditors, consultants and policymakers.
Format: 60 minutes online, presentation followed by Q&A.
This is the first of three workshops in the DETANGLE series “Untangling EU Cybersecurity Regulations”. The next sessions are on 19 November and 10 December 2026.
