🌾 DG AGRI - €21.5M emergency support for EU farmers

The European Commission has approved €21.5 million in emergency funding to support farmers in Bulgaria, Estonia and Hungary affected by adverse weather conditions.

The funding, mobilised from the agricultural reserve, aims to stabilise incomes and strengthen resilience of the EU agri-food sector.

🛡️ EDF - €1.5B work programme to boost EU defence innovation

The Commission has adopted a €1.5 billion European Defence Fund (EDF) work programme, supporting collaborative defence R&D projects across Europe and Ukraine.
