NIS2, the AI Act, the GDPR and the Cyber Resilience Act all land on the same organisations, but not in the same way in every country. The EU-funded DETANGLE project, where Tiko Pro is a consortium partner, is running three online workshops to help you make sense of it.
For companies that operate across borders, EU cybersecurity law is no longer one rulebook. NIS2 has been transposed differently in each Member State, national authorities supervise in different ways, and new rules such as the AI Act and the CRA add obligations that overlap with existing ones. The result is a compliance puzzle that is hard to solve alone.
The DETANGLE Online Workshop Series "Untangling EU Cybersecurity Regulations" brings legal, cybersecurity, compliance and policy perspectives together to show how EU legislation turns into national requirements and day-to-day responsibilities. All sessions are led by Valerio Lubello, Research Fellow at Bocconi University and practising lawyer in administrative and technology law.
The three workshops
Workshop 1: The NIS2 Patchwork: A Comparative Perspective Across EU Member States 29 October 2026, 11:00 CET, online
How selected EU countries have transposed NIS2 and where they differ: national legal frameworks, competent authorities, incident reporting rules, enforcement and executive liability.

Workshop 2: The EU Digital Regulatory Mesh: Intersections Between AI Act, GDPR, CRA, and NIS2 19 November 2026, 11:00 CET, online
Where these four frameworks meet, where obligations overlap or conflict, and what that means for incident reporting, data governance and accountability when you build or deploy digital technology.
Workshop 3: Comparing NIS2 Competent Authorities: Supervisory Models and Enforcement Powers Across EU Member States 10 December 2026, 11:00 CET, online
How national authorities supervise NIS2 in practice: ex-ante and ex-post supervision, inspections and audits, administrative penalties and management accountability.
Registration links for workshops 2 and 3 will follow on the DETANGLE website.

Meet the speaker
Valerio Lubello has taught Public and Comparative Public Law at Bocconi University since 2014. He holds a PhD in European and Comparative Constitutional Law, and his research covers fundamental rights, privacy law, artificial intelligence and the energy transition. He practises law in Milan as Managing Partner at GLA Administrative and Tech Law.
Why we are sharing this
At Tiko Pro we work every day with companies that apply for Digital Europe, ECCC and Horizon Europe cybersecurity funding. Many of them face the same question: what exactly does NIS2 or the CRA require from us, and does it change if we sell in another country? These workshops answer that question with comparative, practical insight, and each session ends with an open Q&A.
