🟢 Global Gateway - Green hydrogen investment advances in Southern Africa
A blended-finance fund supported through the EU’s Global Gateway strategy has reached its first financial close, creating new investment opportunities for Southern Africa’s green transition.
The fund will support projects involving green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol and industrial decarbonisation, helping mobilise private investment and develop regional clean-energy value chains.

🌾 EU State Aid - €20M for agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture
The European Commission has approved a €20 million Italian State aid scheme for agricultural, fishing and aquaculture companies in Friuli Venezia Giulia affected by higher fuel and fertiliser prices.
Support will be provided through direct grants and subsidised loans, with assistance capped at €50,000 per beneficiary.
