Slovenia has designated the ALiEnS-SOC project as a strategic national cybersecurity priority, recognizing its vital role in protecting critical infrastructure and strengthening the country’s cyber resilience.
Tiko Pro is pleased to share an important milestone for the ALiEnS-SOC project: the Government of the Republic of Slovenia has officially included ALiEnS-SOC among the strategic national cybersecurity projects in the Development Programme Plan 2025-2028.
At its 169th regular session, the Government adopted decisions to classify several high-impact cybersecurity projects as strategic national priorities. These projects will strengthen Slovenia's cyber resilience, enhance cross-border cooperation, and bolster the protection of critical infrastructure - key pillars for long-term national security and digital stability.
A Significant Recognition for ALiEnS-SOC
The inclusion of ALiEnS-SOC in this strategic framework confirms the project's national relevance and its contribution to the future of cybersecurity in the Slovenian energy sector and beyond.
The solution developed within ALiEnS-SOC is especially important because the electro-energy sector represents one of the most sensitive and strategically vital components of national critical infrastructure. Any cyber incident targeting electricity networks can have immediate and far-reaching consequences for public safety, the functioning of essential services, and economic stability. Strengthening cybersecurity capabilities in this sector is therefore essential not only for uninterrupted energy supply but also for national resilience as a whole.
As an EU-co-funded project, ALiEnS-SOC is developing an advanced AI-driven cybersecurity system to support national SOC capabilities through faster detection, prevention, and response to cyber threats.
