Objective of the call
The objective of this call is to continue and expand the European Partnership of Agriculture of Data by funding additional activities aligned with its established strategic research and innovation agenda. The call supports the further development of data-driven solutions, tools, and governance models to strengthen sustainability, competitiveness, and resilience in the agricultural sector.
Scope of activities
Projects should focus on extending the existing partnership activities, including launching additional actions and integrating new partners. Activities include organising joint transnational calls providing financial support to third parties, strengthening collaboration across national and regional programmes, and improving interoperability of agricultural data systems. Proposals should deliver ready-to-use tools and solutions, promote uptake by farmers and stakeholders, and provide science-based policy support. The partnership should also link existing initiatives, reduce fragmentation of the European data landscape, and enhance international cooperation. Use of research infrastructures and alignment with EU digital, agricultural, and environmental policies are encouraged.

- Innovative SMEs, startups and enterprises aiming to scale and strengthen competitiveness
- Public-sector organisations driving transformation and societal impact
- Research and academic institutions commercialising knowledge
- Non-profit organisations delivering purpose-driven innovation
- Participation is limited to legal entities established in Member States, Iceland and Norway, associated countries, OECD countries and MERCOSUR countries. (described in General Annex A, General Annex B, General Annex C)
- Minimum 3 independent partners from 3 eligible countries
Specific consortium we are looking for:
The proposal must be submitted by the coordinator of the consortium previously funded under HORIZON-CL6-2024-GOVERNANCE-02-01. The consortium should include existing partnership members and may integrate additional partners, particularly from Member States and Associated Countries not yet represented. Relevant stakeholders include public authorities, research organisations, digital and data technology providers, agricultural actors, and organisations managing funding programmes and financial support mechanisms.
Eligible costs
• Eligible costs are reimbursed based on actual costs under a budget-based grant model
• Financial support to third parties (FSTP) is a core activity and provided in the form of grants
• Maximum FSTP per third party: up to €10,000,000 (higher amounts possible if justified)
