Your role
As a Senior EU Funding Proposal Specialist, you will lead the preparation and development of high-quality EU funding proposals — and where relevant, support the subsequent implementation of successfully approved projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and writing of project proposals, ensuring full compliance with EU funding guidelines and evaluation criteria;
- Translate complex project ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with evaluators;
- Strategically structure proposals across all sections — concept, methodology, impact, budget, and consortium;
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including research institutes, companies, and public institutions, to gather input and align project stories;
- Support project implementation following successful approval, including reporting and progress monitoring.
Professional qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully submitted EU funding proposals across programmes such as Horizon Europe, Eureka, Digital Europe, Innovation Fund, Connecting Europe Facility, LIFE, Interreg, or similar (please specify relevant programmes and success rate in your CV/cover letter);
- Deep understanding of the EU funding landscape, including grant mechanisms, eligibility criteria, and evaluation processes;
- Exceptional written English — proposal writing is the core of this role;
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consortia and managing stakeholder input;
- Additional European languages are a significant asset.
You will stand out if you:
- Can demonstrate a portfolio of funded proposals across multiple EU programmes;
- Have experience with large-scale or complex consortium projects;
- Understand the R&D&I environment and can write convincingly about innovation and impact;
- Have experience in project implementation in addition to proposal writing.
