The European Commission received 1514 proposals for SME Instrument Phase at the latest cut-off date on 1 June 2017.
Small and medium-sized businesses that seek funding under the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument can receive from € 0.5 to € 2.5 million (and € 5 million for health projects) from the EU to co-finance up to 70% of their innovation project.
Most proposals were submitted in the topics ICT, followed by health, energy and transport. The largest number of proposals was submitted by Spanish applicants (239), followed by Italian (217) and British (129) applicants. A stable 87% of applicants were single SMEs.
Results for this cut-off will be published at the latest in four months. The next cut-off for Phase 2 is 18/10/2017. Apply now!
